February



In February, we will be collecting funds to support 
Tap-In, our local food pantry and assistance office in Barrington. We will use the money raised to purchase much needed items that are outside of their regular budget and harder to keep in stock.  We invite you to make a contribution  to this important community organization on any of the Sundays in February. 

Looking Ahead:  Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday is February 26.
 
We invite you to join us for worship on Ash Wednesday.  There are two ways for you to participate on this day that marks the beginning of the season of Lent.  First, the church will be open from noon-1:30 pm and again from 6:30-8 pm for a self-guided meditative journey.  
 
For those of you who cannot make it to the church that day, we will have resources available to you (complete with ashes to go) so that you may worship at home, at work, with family, friends, anywhere you choose!
  
God is Good...All the Time!
First Communion

Pastor Andrew will be offering classes for all children who would like to receive Communion for the first time this Spring.  If you feel your child is ready to receive First Communion, or if you have questions, please contact Pastor Andrew at [email protected]  In addition, there is a signup sheet in the Community Room.

Pastor Andrew will work with families who are interested to schedule 2-3 sessions in March.
Superbowl Snack Sale:  Thank You!

Thank you to all those who supported the Superbowl snack sale.  Whether you brought something to sell or purchased snacks, the Youth Ministry team appreciates your support!

Camp Calumet:  Sunday School Weekend
The Sunday School weekend at Camp Calumet is March 27-29.  Please see Gail Feeney if your 3rd-6th grader is interested in attending.  For more information go to:
