Registration: Online and Walk-Through
All new and returning students can start registering online starting July 31st. It's easy as 1-2-3!
- Register online in FutureFund.
- Register online in "Q".
- Come to Walk-Through Registration on August 5 & 6, between noon- 5:45pm both days.
- Students should come to Walk-Through accompanied by a parent/guardian.
- Walk-Through Registration starts in the Small Gym. Remember to bring printed copies of your FutureFund receipt and Q confirmation (printout from Q with "Student" section expanded). If you do not have these printouts with you, go to the Library first where computers and printers will be available for you to register and/or print copies, then bring them with you to the Small Gym.
- Bring cash or several checks with you as most groups (for example, ASB who will be selling class shirts) will not be set up to accept credit card payments.
- Students will then proceed to the Multi-Purpose (MP) room for student ID photos and class schedules.

- If you are completing outside coursework in the summer and need to provide proof of completion, we recommend you bring an official transcript (in an unopened envelope) to Walk-Through Registration

Schedule Change Policy
August 5-16: Requests will be considered only for the following reasons, subject to availability. Teacher requests will not be considered.
- Class needed for graduation
- Class needed to fill a hole in your schedule
- Class needed to meet minimum “a-g” requirements
- Adding/dropping AP class or level change (i.e., Geo to Math II)
- Adding AVID or Academic Support
- Adding/dropping ROP classes with fieldwork or travel
All schedule change requests must be made in writing with a parent signature on the appropriate form (available in the Counseling Office). No emails please.
Please note that from August 19-September 27, schedule change requests must be approved by the administrator overseeing that department.
NEW THIS YEAR: After September 27, no schedule changes will be considered.

Welcome, Newcomers!
Students and parents who are new to Pleasanton are invited to attend a New-to-PUSD orientation on
Monday,
August 5th from 10-11:30 am in the Foothill Library. Counselors and administrators will be on hand to answer parents questions while Peer Advocates will take students on a campus tour.
Freshmen! Join ASB and Leadership students for a separate student-only orientation on
Wednesday, August 7th from 10am to noon in the Large Gym.

Senior Parents!
Senior year is an exciting and busy year. Be sure to stop by the Senior Activities Parents' table at Walk-Through Registration and sign up for email alerts to keep up to date on After Ball Breakfast, Disney Grad Nite (not a school sponsored event) and much more!
In order to make it a successful year for our students we need many volunteers and all must be cleared by the school district to help at any event.

Talon Talk is a twice monthly online publication brought to you the 1st and 15th of each month by the Foothill Parent Teacher-Student Organization (PTSA) in cooperation with school administration.
