Neighborhood History Night: Portland's Bayside

The Bayside neighborhood officially came into existence in 1850 when a local developer scraped earth off of Munjoy Hill to fill in 11 acres north of Oxford Street. Thanks to sea level rise, Back Cove creeps back to reclaim the neighborhood that did not exist 225 years ago.
