Our playground is getting new mulch! We'll be spreading it across the playground on Saturday the 24th at 9 a.m. Please come help us out if you can. Many hands will make for light work giving our kids a safe and comfortable place to play! Contact Beth Watt for more info: elisabeth.watt@gmail.com

Volunteer opportunity for the school year! St. Peter's runs Just Lunch - a program that serves a free lunch to PHS students 3 days a week. We offer food and a warm welcome, there is no religious expectation of the students or volunteers. We need folks to help us prepare and serve simple meals and shop over the weekends (you will be reimbursed). We are looking for regular volunteers as well as folks to contact to fill in if the regulars can't make it on a given day. If you have some time to give, this is a rewarding way to strengthen our community! Please sign up if you are interested and let us know if you have any questions.

Calling all students! Bring your backpacks to church with you on September 1st! We'll have a blessing of the backpacks at the 9:30 service to get ready for the year ahead.

PLEASE NOTE that the Fall sale is a month early - September 26 -28. Move in of stored stuff is Saturday, September 7. Parish Hall setup is Saturday, September 14. The WSP is still in need of someone to help with advertising, especially with the social media and online pieces. AND, we need a person to be in charge of set up on Sept. 7 and/or 14. If either of these appeals to you, please contact Barbara Andreassen at bkandreassen@comcast.net .

You can still join us for early sorting Saturday 8/24 from 9 to 1 or Wednesday 8/28 from 1 to 4.
