PBIS AT MILTONPBIS
During class meetings last week, we communicated to students that an area of focus for students is the hallway during class changes. To make sure instructional time is maximized, we want to ensure that all students arrive to class on time. The students have been given gentle reminders by the staff to Rep the M by doing the following:
WHERE?
R
Show
Resolve
E
Be Engaged
P
Be
Positive
M
Be Mindful
Hallway
Avoid Distractions
Keep it moving
Be courteous and helpful
Arrive on time

In addition, we wanted to communicate to you what will happen should your student arrive late to class on a consistent basis. The following outlines the progression of consequences:
Number of Times Late to Class
Consequence
5
Student conference and a parent is contacted
8
One hour administrative detention and a parent is contacted
10
One hour administrative detention and a parent is contacted
12 or more
Referred to Assistant Principal for disciplinary action
Please encourage your student to "Rep the M" at Milton and to help us achieve our goal of 100% of students arriving on time.
