Rewards and Wellness Points

We are excited to share that we have 974 staff members who have attained the Wellness Champion Level! Charlotte Ferris, HR, is currently the leader with 255 points and well on her way to Warrior status, followed by Somphol Chau, Liberty with 242 points, and Jenny Gonzalez, Algonquin Lakes and Jefrey Leary, DCHS with 237 points each. Warrior status is achieved by earning 300 points.

Physical Health
Annual Health Screenings & Flu Shots – On-Site Screenings are in progress
We are happy to report that 1,196 staff members have registered for a Health Screening via the CHCW Wellness portal, and those that have completed the screenings have been pleased with the convenient, efficient screening events. As a reminder, all benefit-eligible employees are required to participate in the screenings.
Health Screenings - (100 Wellness Points)
There are three ways you can accomplish this by scheduling an appointment:

Flu Shots On-Site - (20 Wellness Points)
In addition to the free Health Screenings, we are offering FREE Flu Shots to all employees. No registration is required and will be available while supplies last.
Health & Lifestyle Survey - (50 Wellness Points)
Employees who participate in the Northwestern Medicine Wellness Screening AND complete the Health & Lifestyle Survey on the nm.chcw.com Portal will earn 50 Wellness Points.

Registration for the Challenge closes on November 3rd
The 2nd Annual Triple T (Turkey Trot Team) Walking challenge begins November 4th and runs through November 26th. Teams (consisting of 2 staff members) will need to register via CHC Wellbeing. The top 10 teams will be placed in a drawing for the grand prize winner. Three teams will be picked, and those team members will each win a $25 Gift Card from Butcher on the Block. NW Medicine - CISM - (5 Wellness Points)
Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) is a strategic approach to fostering resilience within all individuals during crises and disasters. The CISM continuum of care is the most commonly used strategic planning system for disaster mental health, to promote wellness through planning and preparation, provide resilience-building interventions, and support access to treatment rehabilitation.
