June COVID-19 Update
The church council continues to discern plans for re-opening. Our overriding concern is for the safety and health of our staff, members, and guests. No plans for in-person worship yet, but the council approved initial guidelines for when we do. You can
read the guidelines.
One overwhelming driver of a delay to return to in-person worship is the recommended restriction on singing and group recitation of liturgy and prayers. These are core aspects of Lutheran worship that remain a significant part of our currently streamed worship. In-person worship would be very different without these worship components.
The council is committed to providing online worship services, even when attending in-person worship becomes an option.
We are looking at options to gather together in safe, social distancing ways on church grounds in the near future.
The council approved the use of the building and church grounds for smaller groups of people (members and non-member organizations). Read the
guidelines for small groups.

Congregation Survey
The church council has developed a set of guidelines for when we can begin returning to in-person worship at Lord of Love. We are looking for feedback and further input to move forward with our decision making process.
All congregation members are asked to review the guidelines and complete a brief survey
by Monday, July 6th.

How are you and your family doing?
This is a stressful time for everyone. Even as we are kept apart by social distancing, it is important that we keep connecting with and praying for each other. We lift up all of our members and neighbors in prayer for safety and health. May God's peace be with us all.
