The Class of 2020 is holding an Ice Cream sale after school on Friday August 16th, starting at 2:30 pm. All Ice Cream cost $1.00. Please join us in the kitchen to purchase your Ice Cream.

Curriculum Night 2019
Thursday, August 22nd from 6:00 pm - 7:45 pm.
We look forward to welcoming all parents and guardians to this important annual event, where you will hear from all of your student's teachers about the curriculum for the year. Feel free to use the parking lot on our campus or at Archway Scottsdale and enter through the back doors.
Arrive as early as 5:30 pm to pick up your student's schedule. The event begins promptly at 6:00 pm.

1st Annual 8th Grade Retreat
Calling all 8th graders! Don't miss the 1st Annual 8th Grade Retreat.
This signature event has been designed to celebrate your time as a middle school student at Scottsdale Prep and strengthen your relationships with fellow classmates before high school. We will enjoy the outdoors in the cool pines of Payson with fun and games, you will take a personal assessment to help you gain more insight into your strengths and weaknesses and you definitely won't want to miss the 8th grade flash mob!

Middle School Families, please do not enter the school lot before 3:05 pm for pick-up, as it blocks our high school families during their pick-up time. Middle School students will not arrive outside for pick-up until 3:10 at the earliest!

- Sign up for a Faculty Birthday! To make the faculty feel extra special, please consider signing up HERE to buy a birthday lunch for a faculty member. Using SignUp Genius, you choose a faculty member you want to bring lunch in for and then coordinate with that faculty member what he or she would like for lunch and when. You then buy the lunch and make arrangements to deliver it to school yourself or use a delivery service. It makes everyone's day! Families of each grade level also will be hosting a monthly luncheon for the teachers so look for those requests in the weekly news blasts and emails.
- Thank you to Gianna and Mike Bickson for hosting the SPA Wine Club's tasting this summer. Warm weather wines were enjoyed by all!
- Parent Wine Tasting Club: Scottsdale Prep has a parent wine tasting group that meets once a month during the school year. If you are interested in joining, please contact Mary Beth Orson at [email protected]m.

- PSO VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR 2019-2020: Let's start the new school year off running! All SPA parents please fill out this short online PARENT VOLUNTEER FORM for 2019-2020 even if you have been a dedicated volunteer in the past (for which we thank you!). We ask that this form be filled out annually by all parents so everyone has the opportunity to participate in grade level activities and new interests. Thank you! Together wE Achieve More!

Fingerprinting Information
Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will hold a fingerprinting event after the start of the new school year in the fall. If you would like to secure a Fingerprint Card now, Postalmax in Scottsdale is available to provide information on how to secure a Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Card.
