Saving Grace Increases Food Rescue Totals in 2019
Addition of a fourth refrigerated truck in early April is allowing Saving Grace's drivers, shown at left with the new truck, to pick up more perishable food to feed our hungry neighbors.

During the first seven months of the year, Saving Grace rescued 596,651 pounds of healthy perishable food. With the additional truck, the amount of food rescued each month now averages 23,400 pounds more than during the first three months of the year.

Saving Grace has an ambitious goal of rescuing 1,290,000 pounds of healthy perishable food in 2019. This represents a significant increase over the first full year of operations (2014), when 264,424 pounds of food was rescued.
