Dear SMCS Parents,
Thank you for your continued assistance and cooperation with our COVID protocols.
We have made some updates and changes to our COVID protocols. Students who test positive for COVID will be required to wear a mask at school for two weeks following their quarantine/isolation.
If you are planning to travel during the Christmas holidays, please be aware of the requirements for international travel that are listed below. These guidelines were shared in Paw Prints before Thanksgiving and will continue to be shared as a reminder.
International travelers are required to get tested 3 to 5 days after they return to the United States. If your family travels internationally over the holidays, please plan to have to present a negative PCR COVID test before your students will be able to return to school. Unvaccinated students who travel internationally will be required to stay home for 7 days after they return to the United States and will be allowed to return to school on day 8 as long as their PCR COVID test is negative.
More information about travel from the CDC is available here:
If you plan to travel internationally over the Christmas holidays, please let Nurse Diaz know.
Thank you again for your continued support.
Blessings,
Dr. Cox and Nurse Diaz
