Friday UU Update
July 31, 2020
Unitarian Universalist Church  of Bloomington, Indiana
Our Sunday Service

Sunday, August 2, 2020
10:15 am LIVE STREAM ONLY
Peace in Pieces
Reverend Christin Green, Guest Minister

Have you ever blown out some candles or seen a shooting star, and made an earnest wish for World Peace? Me too. Have you ever felt hopeless, helpless, and defeated by that same idea, finding it too grand, too far out of reach, or too complicated? Mercy, me too! However, I find that moments of lowercase "peace" remind me of the possibility for uppercase "Peace." Gather to explore some ways to create peace in pieces. Reverend Emily Manvel Leite will participate in this service.

Join us via livestream for this week's service at 10:15 a.m. via our Facebook page or our website livestream page. In case you miss the livestream, archived videos are always available on our website.

Our Building is Closed for the Time Being, but Our Hearts are Still Open.
To do our part to disrupt the spread of coronavirus and COVID-19 in our community, our Board of Directors has reaffirmed the decision, announced at the June 7, 2020 Congregational Meeting, to plan on keeping our building closed  through May 2021. The Board, in consultation with ministers, will continue to reassess this decision at their monthly meetings, and will keep us updated as the situation evolves. All in-person events and meetings have been canceled. Everyone please stay safe and stay well.
