Class Assignment Notifications Underway Elementary Students Will Hear Directly from Their Teacher, Secondary Students Will Receive an Email on Tuesday
Elementary students will receive notification about their classroom assignment directly from their teacher. Many elementary school teachers have made personal phone calls, sent emails, and set up brief Zoom meetings to connect with their students. Some of the elementary classroom notifications may continue through tomorrow.

Middle school and high school students should receive their class schedules by email on Tuesday, August 18. The emails will be sent from no-reply@nisdtx.org. Emails to middle school and high school families will begin in the morning, but may arrive at different times throughout the day as our network servers work to disperse nearly 35,000 messages. This means that households with more than one child in a secondary school could receive emails at different times throughout the day.

If your child has not received his or her schedule by Wednesday morning, please contact their school directly.

On Wednesday, all students will receive directions from their teacher on how to log into their first class on Thursday morning.

Sample remote learning schedules for elementary and secondary students are available on the NISD Return-to-Learn website.
Does your student still need a Chromebook?
All NISD students are encouraged to use a district-issued Chromebook to access instruction and materials once school begins on Thursday. If your child already has a Chromebook issued by NISD, it is not necessary to exchange it for a new device.

Chromebooks will be available for curbside pick up at the NISD Administration Building (2001 Texan Drive, Justin) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday-Friday, now until Sept. 14. Before picking up a device, please complete the Device Use Agreement.
