Director's Message
Hi LBCS Families!
     What an exciting week in Loomis (and the surrounding areas). Except for about 10 minutes today, we have enjoyed business as usual with all our power. We're thinking of all of our families and staff who are going on day 3 without power.
     The Girls Basketball season at LBCS ended last night with our 7th Grade girls team playing in the championship game. While we didn't come away with a victory, our girls played aggressively and with heart the whole game. We are so proud of our teams.
     If you missed my email, don't forget that it's time to sign up for the MandaRUN ! (click the link to get to the registration page) LBCS is in the running with the other LUSD schools for the coveted  Manda Cup , currently housed at Ophir. What's the Manda Cup, you ask? Well, it's the trophy that goes to the school with the most registrations for the MandaRUN on November 24th. Sign your family members up for the 5k or Half Marathon. Participating in the MandaRUN comes with many benefits, including: active family fun , walking/jogging/running/competitive options for both races , helping the Loomis Basin Education Foundation raise money for all the Loomis schools , AND helping us bring the Manda Cup to LBCS !
     We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. And, our fingers will be crossed that your power is back on soon.

popsicle day will be October 31st.

Jog-A-Thon
The Jog-A-Thon is a school-wide fundraiser that raises money for our school while promoting health & fitness for students!! The money raised will be used to fund school programs! 


When:  October 25th

K- 3rd-----8:30-9:15am
4th & 5th-9:30-10:15 am
MYP------10:30-11:15 am

What to do:
1. Open email from 99pledges with your students direct fundraising link.
2. Gather sponsors from Parents, Grandparents, Friends, and Co-workers. All donation are due before or on October 25th.
3. Sign up to help at the jog-a-thon and come cheer on our runners!!
