Every year the anticipated 6th grade gothic fiction event is an unforgettable night. This year, the students were taken to "Sleepy Hollow" and the story is brought to life. Did Ichabod ever make it across the bridge? 6th grade students got to find out as they wrapped up the final culmination in their study of all that is spine-tingling and bone-chilling for language arts, performing arts, and design thinking class.
The buzz all week at Park Maitland School was pumpkins! Students from all grade levels walked in-between classes, sharing awe moments with their friends at the magnificent display of pumpkins.
Tinkering Lab
First graders in Ms. Trombley's class are introduced to levers and simple machines. This week they are making catapults to compete in the catapult Olympics.
Science
First graders in Ms. Nepple's class are learning about Chemistry. Two special guests came to help Ms. Nepple create Halloween fun.

Ms. Moore (Mom of Valentina in 1-Yellow) and Ms. Johnson (Mom of Ava in 1-Purple) demonstrated pumpkins spewing liquid foam with a bit of special ingredients.

Gatorland
1st Grade students took a field trip to Brevard Zoo last Friday. We had to share all the fun they had.
