Fr. Michael Davitti SX (second from the right) celebrated the Golden Jubilee of his ordination on September 27th. He is pictured with Rev. ST Sutton, pastor of St. Joseph Church in Newton NJ, Fr. Mark Marangone SX and Fr. Frank Grappoli SX who celebrated the 57th Anniversary of his ordination on September 29th.

Access Fr. Michael's moving homily about his 50 years of ministry and mission here.
This video describes the third issue of the Testament Letter, where Conforti tells us about “Evil”. He knows that talking about the beauty and greatness of the missionary vocation is not enough. Mission joined to Religious Consecration is subjected to temptation. In fact, our Founder does not remain silent about this reality present in Divine Revelation.

A Seed of Peace in Kamenge, Africa
Six years have now passed since the afternoon of 7 September when our sisters, Olga Raschietti, Lucia Pulici, and Bernardetta Boggian, were brutally killed in their home in Kamenge, a suburb of Bujumbura, Burundi. To this day, we are still waiting to know the full truth about their death. Learn more from Sister Elena Conforto, MMX.

The new baptized in times of pandemic
From Xaverian Missionary, Fr. Salvador Cruz in Indonesia:"[T]he group of catechumens was ready to receive the christening in last Easter but because of COVID-19 could not do so until last month. There were 20 adolescents and adults divided into two groups. Due to pandemic restrictions the celebration could only take place with their godparents."
WORLD MISSION SUNDAY 2020
World Mission Sunday, our annual worldwide Eucharistic celebration for the Missions and missionaries of the world, will be celebrated on October 18 this year. This collection on the next-to-last Sunday in October is a unique, global effort for the entire Church to provide for the building up of over one thousand local churches in Asia and Africa, the Pacific Islands, and parts of Latin America and Europe. Through the work of these churches, and their witness to Christ, the poor receive practical help and experience God's love and mercy, hope and peace. Learn more.
SEASON of CREATION
A Prayer for Leadership
~Sister Joan Chittister, OSB
Give us, O God,
leaders whose hearts are large enough
to match the breadth of our own souls
and give us souls strong enough
to follow leaders of vision and wisdom.
In seeking a leader, let us seek
more than development of ourselves—
though development we hope for,
more than security for our own land—
though security we need,
more than satisfaction for our wants—
though many things we desire.
Give us the hearts to choose the leader
who will work with other leaders
to bring safety
to the whole world.
A Black Catholic’s Perspective on the Church’s Response to the Black Lives Matter Movement

The Black Lives Matter is a movement that has emerged out of recent racially charged tragedies, where black men and women have suffered unjustly death and injury at the hands of the white majority... Too many black sons, black daughters, black wives, black mothers, black husbands and black fathers have been lost to the infected hands of bigotry, with no end to these atrocities in sight. Supporting Black Lives Matter does not denote that other causes are of less importance. Rather, the Black Lives Matter movement affirms that we need our cries for justice answered also. Learn more from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Access more USCCB resources on how to address racism here.
