A Message from Pastor Austin
William (Bill) Metz

The very last conversation I had with our friend Bill wasn't theological. It wasn't even about our families. It was about the Broncos. He loved sports and loved to talk about the Broncos.

But before we talked about the Broncos, we talked about our families and then we talked about God's promises. We talked about how our bodies will be made new- no more wheelchair. I told Bill what a day it will be when God's promise to us becomes reality. I didn't know for him that would be two weeks later.

“Behold, I am making all things new.”
- Revelation 21:5

God could have left us in our current state, filled with sin, and sorrow, and pain, and even death. But He didn't! Instead, God takes the tissues out and wipes every tear from our eyes.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”
-Revelation 21:4

I love how our Lord also let's us know in eternity when death, sorrow, crying and pain come back ... NEVER! "All these things are gone forever." Praise God!

I am so happy for Bill who is at peace. We miss our friend, but this weekend we will celebrate what Christ Jesus our Lord did for Bill, and for YOU.

Prayer: Lord thank you for the free gift of grace you have given us through your Son Jesus Christ. AMEN

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully[a] will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7
