Welcoming Strangers to Our Tents: Honoring the Legacy of Abraham

Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020 – 2 to 4 p.m.
Farmington Valley American Muslim Center, 35 Harris Road, Avon, CT 

Judaism, Christianity and Islam all teach the importance of welcoming the stranger. But what is the basis for that and what does that mean for us today? Guided by a Rabbi, a Minister and an Imam, we’ll explore and discuss sacred texts from the three Abrahamic faiths and their lessons about radical hospitality.
