For Programs

The following resources have been developed by the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse and the Children's Bureau within the Administration for Children and Families. They offer comprehensive information for fatherhood organizations to use to ensure that their programming is robust, evidence-informed, and effective at strengthening families across America.

This NRFC brief provides an overview of eight domains of program sustainability, along with tips from seasoned practitioners and helpful resources with more information on ways to maintain the benefits of successful initiatives for fathers and their families.

NRFC Data Snapshot: Resident Fathers and Substance Use.
This data snapshot presents information on multiple types of substance use, misuse, and abuse, including t obacco, marijuana, and alcohol use, b inge drinking and heavy drinking, m edication or inhalant misuse or abuse, and i llicit substance use. Misusing or abusing substances limits a parent's ability to be positively involved in their children's lives and can lead to negative outcomes for both them and their children.

This Resource Guide was developed to support service providers in their work with parents, caregivers, and their children to prevent child abuse and neglect and promote child and family well-being.
