ABPM EXHIBITS AT THE ACP INTERNAL MEDICINE CONFERENCE
 
In April of this year, Drs. Marc Benard and Mitchell Shikoff had the opportunity to exhibit at the American College of Physicians (ACP) Internal Medicine Conference in Philadelphia, PA. The ACP Internal Medicine Conference is the largest medical seminar in the country with over 11.000 physicians yearly representing countries from around the globe. 

This was part of our outreach to medical specialties to showcase the ABPM and the benefits of incorporating ABPM Diplomates into treatment plans for their patients with lower extremity pathologies.

Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ)
in Amputation Prevention and Wound Care 
 
ABPM Diplomates interested in taking the CAQ Exam  must be able to demonstrate at least  one of the following:

1. provide certificate confirming completion of a CPME-approved fellowship in amputation prevention and wound care or similar designation,  or 

2. submit documentation in the form of a letter regarding expertise in a wound care or hospital setting (minimum of 1,000 documented hours verified by the program's Hospital CMO, Fellowship Director, or Department Chairperson/Chief of Service),  or

3. pass a case documentation process proving expertise in amputation prevention and wound care
Tuesday, October 1, 2019 - Online application available
Saturday, December 21, 2019 - Application deadline
Friday, March 6, 2020 - Administration of the CAQ Examination
