CHAMBER BOARD ELECTIONS
It is time, once again for members of the Chamber to vote to elect/reelect members of the Chamber Board of Directors. Over the past few weeks, we have solicited and received nominations for the Chamber Board. We now have eight candidates on the ballot.

Letters were mailed to each member last week containing the ballot and candidate bios. I encourage you all to take a moment to review and then cast your vote.  Completed ballots can be faxed or mailed to the Chamber address. Contact information is at bottom of email.

The Board of Directors plays an important role in setting the goals and programs for the Chamber. Members of the board represent large and small local businesses who believe that the business community must lead the way in improving Habersham’s long-term business climate.
Your Vote Matters!  If you have not received your ballot by mail, please email me.

We received an overwhelming response to our Youth Leadership Habersham Program!

We are seeking sponsors to help cover the cost of the expanded program, and to allow us the opportunity to enhance the leadership experience for the youth in our community.

RECENT RIBBON CUTTINGS:
SafeCar Auto Sales

Chamber Board members and volunteers recently celebrated SafeCar Auto Sales at their recent 1920s-themed ribbon cutting in Cornelia. Shown cutting the ribbon are Robert Clinton and Caroline Gavin.  SafeCar is a used, late model broker that provides customers with a complete automotive experience at competitive prices.

The primary focus at SafeCar is safety and reliability, providing peace of mind to you and your loved ones. They offer used cars, SUV’s, vans and trucks that are purchased wholesale at auctions, directly from dealers, or buyer trade-in and are reconditioned for resale to both the wholesale and retail markets. For more information, contact them at 706-894-1008 or visit them online at safecarautos.com.
