RECOGNITIONS

District Classified Employees of the Year

Twin Rivers Unified is fortunate to have outstanding support staff working throughout our District who perform important functions critical to our schools and the success of our students. Following site and department selections and an interview process, three candidates have been selected as Twin Rivers Unified School District’s Classified Employees of the Year. They will represent Twin Rivers in the Sacramento County Office of Education Classified Employee of the Year program. We are pleased to honor the following individuals for their exemplary service to our students, staff and families:

  • Diana Rose (Library Media Tech, Foothill Ranch Middle School)
  • Jamie Manalo (Professional Development/Curriculum & Instruction Program Specialist, District Office)
  • Rhima Blenkhorn (Café Team Lead 1) Orchard Elementary

All three of our TR District Classified Employees of the Year have been selected as 2021 Sacramento County Classified Employees of the Year. They will now represent TR and the county in the State Classified School Employees of the Year competition.

Women’s History Month is a celebration of the meaningful contributions of women to history, culture and society and has been observed annually in March in the United States since 1987. The Superintendent recommends adoption of Resolution No. 909 in recognition of National Women's History Month.

Arts Education Month and Music in Our Schools Month provide Twin Rivers Unified a unique opportunity to focus on the value of the arts for all students, to foster cross-cultural understanding, and to give recognition to the District’s outstanding young artists.
