Annual Golf Tournament Brought the Sunshine!
We couldn't have asked for a better day! This year's golfers not only enjoyed the course but had the chance to be participate in some fun games, expand their network, and win awesome prizes. Ken Long - the Professional Long Driver was a huge hit, VIP Cart raffle was fun, and meeting associates members along the course brought some great dynamics to the game.
A huge thank you to all our golfers (over 84 this year - our biggest yet) and to our sponsors who made the tournament a huge success!

TD Global Economic Update
Over 150 guests packed the Best Western in Cobourg in May, to hear from Deputy Chief Economist Derek Burleton. An overall summary of the talk, asked guests to be patient, resilient and to stay positive as markets all over the world shift to change with new leadership and a heightened political atmosphere. We were told to watch the China and US relationship very closely, as we may think it will not have an effect on us, when reality is - it will.
A specific stat Derek did share has baffled experts alike - the trend and data coming in states we're hiring more than ever, adding to our workforce, lowest unemployment rate in years but productivity has not increased. Hmmmm interesting......
Thank you to all the members who joined us and to our co-hosts TD Canada Trust and BakerTilly - thanks for including us.

Venture13 Turned One!
The NMA was very proud to share in the anniversary celebrations of Venture13 in May. It was a great chance for the NMA to reflect on our decision to become a partner and supporter of V13 and all that it encompasses. We couldn't be more excited about where we've come and what's in store for the future.
Thank you to all the members who came out and enjoyed the photo booth, demonstrations and BBQ. Oh and did you hear - there were some pretty big announcements, and the launch of the V13 robot!
