Theia to demo 4K/ 20mpx fisheye lens

Theia will demonstrate a prototype of its SY190F 190 degree up to 20 megapixel fisheye lens at ASIS 2014, booth 1543. The SY190F lens is designed to support a 1.2 micron pixel size and provide >400 lp/mm resolution in the center and >200 lp/mm at 85deg off axis field angle - right where you need the most resolution. The M12 mount lens supports 1/2.5", 1/2.3" and 1/2" sensors.

Sentry 360 will also demonstrate the lens on their next generation 10mpx 360 degree mini-dome camera at booth 3922. Be sure to stop by and check it out!

Calculator Update!

Theia has launched new iPad and Android Tablet versions of our award winning
Image Resolution Simulator and Lens Calculator App. You can now input the camera angle and it provides the pixel density at three points in the image. In addition, you can introduce a level of jpeg noise to more accurately reflect image quality. The new version is also available for the existing iPhone and Android phones. And Theia can make our App available economically to select organizations through Apple's Vendor Purchase Program. For more information, email [email protected].
