Message from our Head Teacher

After the most unusual couple of terms I’ve ever known in teaching, we’ve arrived at the end of another year. We’re saying farewell to another amazing Year 11 cohort, who we hope to see again for an event later in the year, we are confident that they have the skills and knowledge to achieve the very best in their future endeavours and have exciting futures ahead.

Planning for September is our focus now and we are working hard to ensure we create a safe environment that will enable us to continue to deliver a high quality curriculum for our young people. As soon as I’ve completed the full plan and have considered any further information from the DfE, I will share it with you.

I’d like to say a big thank you to our students who have continued to engage with their work throughout their time at home; to our staff and trustees who have ensured that the school has continued to provide work and support and to our parents for unexpectedly becoming home educators.

I wish you all a relaxing summer and hope we can all re-energise ready for whatever challenges the new year brings.

Steve Jones
