What:  Players Workshop opens its new season with the Neil Simon comedy The Prisoner of Second Avenue. The "prisoner" of Second Avenue is Mel Edison, a well-paid Manhattan advertising executive whose life is turned upside down when he loses his job, only to have the situation compounded by well-meaning, buttinsky relatives, the air pollution killing his plants, and paper-thin apartment walls, allowing him a constant earful of his neighbors' private lives. The play showcases Simon's unique gift for taking a grave subject and treating it with hearty but sympathetic humor.

In this class, you will be using Excel 2016 and discover dozens of shortcuts and tricks for setting up fully formatted worksheets quickly and efficiently. What: Learn the basics of joining metal pieces through MIG welding. In this class you will make a flower yard art and learn the basic weld. What: Players Workshop will raffle the artwork "Nancy," a limited edition print (#1 of only 36) of a hand-tinted etching taken from a woodcut by American artist Wm. J. Ellington, to raise funds to repair the Workshop roof. "Nancy," a gentle portrait of a young girl holding a pet rabbit, has been professionally appraised at a value of $2880. The portrait may be viewed at the Art Center in Burlington or at the Workshop during performances of the fall and winter plays. What: Burlington Noon Lions invite you to join as we celebrate Burlington's German heritage.
