Make Feeding Kids Part of Your Student Wellness Plan
Give your students a nutritious snack or meal while they participate in afterschool activities such as tutoring, aftercare, or athletics.

Schools are reimbursed by the Child and Adult Care Food Program at a higher rate than NSLP/SBP reimbursements.

No Kid Hungry Texas provides technical assistance and grants to help with afterschool meals as well as breakfast and summer meals.

  • incorporate the use of integrated reading instruments, and
  • prioritize the placement of highly effective teachers in K-2.
