DECEMBER MEETING RECAP
The featured speaker was Nicole Franklin, Psy.D., Assistant Medical Director of the McLaren Bariatric and Metabolic Institute. Dr. Franklin shared tips on how to deal with stress during the holidays.

Everyone in attendance was invited to write down one stressor currently in their life on an index card. Dr. Franklin addressed each issue on the cards and provided excellent advice on dealing with them in a healthy way.

We also learned about using the Self-Care Wheel to achieve life balance. More info at http://www.olgaphoenix.com/key-offerings/self-care-wheel/
NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER CHARITY PARTNER ACTIVITY
For our November and December charitable activity, the Flint Women's Forum collected "holiday knickers" for the women at St. Luke N.E.W. Life Center in North Flint.

We collected 25 multi-packs for a total of 150+ pairs of new women's underwear! Thank you to all who donated.

JANUARY CHARITY PARTNER ACTIVITY
For our January charitable activity, the Flint Women's Forum is collecting hand & body lotion for the women at St. Luke N.E.W. Life Center in North Flint.

FWF members are invited to bring lotion to our meeting to donate to St. Luke as Sister Carol has informed us that this is one of their highest needs. Friends, family and co-workers are welcome to contribute if they would like.

If you received bath & body products or gift sets over the holiday that you will not be able to use due to allergies, etc., we encourage you to donate them. It's re-gifting for a great cause!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Community Involvement Chair, Crystal Pepperdine, at  [email protected].

STORMY KROMER AT BRIDGE STREET EXCHANGE IN FENTON
St. Luke New Life Center  seamstresses sew the Stormy Kromer  Outfitter vests. Bridge Street Exchange in Fenton sells the vests and generously gives back to St. Luke's.

Bridge Street will be donating a portion of the proceeds from every Outfitter vest sold through Christmas directly to the seamstresses at St. Luke's. All proceeds from Bridge Street Exchange's monthly root beer fundraiser for December will also benefit St. Luke's.
