This Week In Worship
To Prepare For Worship:
Pastor’s Prayer Partners Petitions
Praying for Others

In the Book of Job, we find a man who is faithful to the Lord. According to Scripture, he was blameless and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil . Job had 10 children. We read, His sons used to go and hold a feast in the house of each one on his day, and they would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them.  And when the days of the feast had run their course, Job would send and consecrate them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my children have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did continually.
Job prayed for his loved ones. Do we? We pray for their health and their wealth. We pray that they would be safe in their travels and successful in their endeavors. We pray for the growth of their minds and the growth of their bodies.
Do we pray for their souls? Are we, like Job, so concerned with the spiritual lives of our children, no matter how young or old they may be, that we would daily bring them to the Lord in prayer. Do we provide an example in our worship lives and our devotional lives?
We never stop being a parent, so we should never stop being a witness to the children the Lord has placed into our spiritual care.
Remember your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in your daily prayers to the Lord.
Thanks for your partnership,

Pastor Raasch

STEPHEN MINISTRY MOMENT
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 Can I trust a Stephen Minister? Trust is essential to any caring relationship, and you can be assured that Stephen Ministers are people you can trust. Confidentiality is one of the most important principles of Stephen Ministry; what a care receiver tells the Stephen Minister is kept is strictest confidence. If you think you or someone you know could benefit from meeting with a Stephen Minister, your first step is to call Pastor Reichmann at 377-6610. As always, please remember to ask permission before referring another person.
