Personalized Tent Spaces - Parish Fair
The Most Blessed Sacrament Parish Fair will be returning October 18, 2019 through October 20, 2019. You’ve asked and the Fair answered! The MBS Fair Committee created spots “on the fairgrounds” to set up your personal tent so that you can establish a home base for your family and friends to spend the weekend at the MBS Parish Fair. Tent spaces will be a great place to eat, visits with friends, drop off large prizes, rest, or even lay down a child (or adult) who needs a nap to recharge. As always, the MBS Fair is expected to be exciting and you will not want to miss a minute.
LIMITED AVAILABILITY
– Thirty (30) designated tent spaces will be available.
New this year - six (6) of the tents spaces will have front row access to all the action.
Tent spaces are offered on a first-come, first-purchase basis.
Pricing for tent spaces:
Spaces 1-6 (FRONT ROW): $300/each space for the entire weekend
Spaces 7-30: $200/each for the entire weekend.
To secure one of the front row tent spaces (Spaces 1-6), contact Michael Taffaro via email at
mjt0224@yahoo.com
. Payment for Spaces 1-6 must be paid made by check. Spaces 1-6 cannot be ordered online. Space will not be reserved until both registration information and payment are received.
Checks should be made payable to “MBS”.
To secure other family tent spaces (Spaces 7-30), complete the
attached
form and make payment online at
www.mbsparishfair.com
. Space will not be reserved until both form and payment are completed and received. Once completed, a member of the Family Tent Space will contact you to select your spot.

Office of Child Protection
|
|
According to the Safe Environment Policy mandated by the Diocese of Baton Rouge, all church parish and school ministry volunteers/chaperones must complete a mandatory background check and child protection training. Please note that MBS School child protection requirements are not the same as MBS Church Parish. Therefore, if you are compliant for the Parish, you are not automatically compliant for the School, and vice versa. It is important to remember the child protection paperwork is time sensitive. If you began the process, but did not complete all the steps in a timely manner, you may have to resubmit the paperwork. Many files have been archived due to inactivity, and/or files not being updated.
Please contact Mrs. Landry at 225-753-5526 or email
childprotection@mbsbr.org
for assistance in receiving the required paperwork or to check on your volunteer status.
Remember that Child Protection credentials allow the holder of these credentials the opportunity to chaperone/volunteer at MBS Parish and/or School. All credentialed adult volunteers must abide by the sign-up and confirmation process for each event.
Chaperone and Volunteer Requirements Agreement 2019-2020
Those adults who have completed the Safe Environment and Child Protection requirements and have been cleared to volunteer at MBS School must complete the Chaperone/Volunteer Requirements Agreement form each year prior to volunteering. The agreement form is an overview of the responsibilities and requirements of chaperones and volunteers. This form will stay in the child protection file and must be updated each school year. Please find the file
attached
for your convenience.
