Memorial Program
St. Stephen Statue

The St. Stephen Statue which was commissioned early in January,
will finally begin it's journey to America!

The statue has been completed for several months, but has not been able to be shipped due to the restraints put on international, non-essential shipping.
The St. Stephen statue is carved from Linwood by the same craftsman that created our St. Stephen crucifix. It stands over six feet tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. It is sure to sure to be a magnificent addition to our sacred art here at St. Stephen.

We are so thankful for the family who donated to the Memorial Program so that we could have this one of a kind, hand-carved statue of our patron saint, St. Stephen.

Pray for us, St. Stephen

Sharing the Gospel
As God's child, you are the wheat in God's field. As you love and trust God more, your faith will grow. You will see others around you who love God, too. God will be happy to see you growing up in God's love. As you grow taller and stronger, you will also notice others around you who ignore or hate God. God will get rid
of those weeds. Then he will bring you into heaven.

Prayer
God, help my love and faith to grow strong.

Something to Draw
Draw a picture of wheat and weeds.

Mission for the Week
Help your parents in the garden. Watch how carefully weeds need to be pulled, so you don't pull up the good plants, too.

Sacrament of Baptism Ministry

Baptize all the Nations in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” –Matthew 28:19

Each and every time a child is welcomed into God’s Family it is a blessing, not only for the child and his or her family, but for all of us. You could have the privilege of witnessing these grace-filled moments by being part of our Baptism Ministry Team at St. Stephen.

We are in need of Baptism Coordinators to help with hospitality and assisting during the Sacrament of Baptism celebration.

Baptism Day:  On the day of Baptism, the Baptism Coordinators welcome parents, family and friends as they arrive, arrange seating and answer any questions or concerns they might have regarding the celebration. The Baptism Coordinators also set-up and assist our Priest or Deacons as needed before and during the celebration.

When: Sunday afternoons - (twice a month)
Time:  Following the 11:30 am Mass - (12:30 – 1:30 pm)

For more information, please contact Rosie Bridges at the Office of Faith Formation, 813-671-4434.
