On July 8, 2021, a groundbreaking was held for the Library Park project at the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall (ACFL&MH) in Carnegie Borough PA . Landau Building Company will be the general contractor for the project which is a beautifully designed park that will connect “the Carnegie in Carnegie” to the lively main street below. It includes a meandering pathway lined with trees, sculptures, and sidewalks.
Landau Building Company began working at Andrew Carnegie Free Library in 2004. Each phase of work was contracted as funding becomes available. The renovations include restoration of the music hall, basement, lobby, elevator, as well as the façade, roof, windows, landscaping, retaining wall, and door repair.
The Carnegie Free Library has been serving the community since 1901 and is celebrating its 120th anniversary. You can learn more about the library and the renovations here:
