We are beginning a 4-week series, SOLAS. Hear the first message, "Scripture Alone." We still have messages for various ages, prayer requests and much more online on our Worship Now page. Don't forget to check-in to let us know you were with us!
MESSIAH LIVE! SUNDAY OCT 4
All are invited to our FREE Concert Celebration this Sunday at 5pm. We hope to see many of you! Bring your chair or blanket, a picnic dinner and enjoy it on the lawn while you are entertained with a variety of songs and talents from our Messiah Community. There may be some surprise guests too! Please wear a mask until you are sitting social distanced on the lawn. Invite family and friends to this fun-filled evening for all ages. No need to sign up. Just come!
BLESS YOUR PETS! SUNDAY OCT 4
Messiah's animal ministry, All God's Creatures is sponsoring our 7th Annual Blessing of the Animals! Bring your pets to receive a special blessing from Pastors Bob and Jay this Sunday at 10am. We hope to see many of you and your special family members! We could all use some extra blessings these days!

What if the way we think about sharing our faith is all wrong? You probably believe that your life is better because of Jesus, the work of the Holy Spirit in your life and your participation in your congregation. But you also don’t want your friends to think you’re “pushing religion on them.” Pastor Jay will help us look at alternative ways to think about spiritual journeys, transformation, sharing our faith, and inviting our friends to take “one step at a time” toward growing in their relationship with God. We'll meet on Mondays at Messiah for 4 weeks. MESSIAH KIDS WEDNESDAYS
Pre-K thru 5th graders are invited to come on Wednesdays between 5:30-7:30pm for fun games and activities with Adrine Gasimyan, Children's Ministry Director. Bring a picnic dinner.
DRIVE THRU MONDAYS
We celebrated PETS this week in honor of all the donations we received for our Pet Supply Collection! It's so fun to see all who drive thru. Thanks for your generous donations each week in support of Caring Hands Food Pantry! This is only possible with your ongoing support! Come see us next Monday, October 5 between 9-11am.

DONATE BLOOD
The Red Cross strongly urges healthy, eligible blood donors to schedule a donation to maintain a sufficient supply of blood products for those in need. They are taking every measure to manage the safety of donors, volunteers, employees and blood recipients. Sign up to donate between 1-7pm in the Joy Center.

CHARITY'S CLOSET NEEDS DRIVERS
Charity's Closet is an all-volunteer business that supports HIS (Homeless Intervention Shelter) HOUSE in Placentia which provides housing and services for homeless families. Charity's Closet is in need of multiple drivers to pick up items that can't be used in the small shop and deliver them to other ministries/resources in the community. A pickup and delivery should only take 30-45 minutes. There's an immediate need for a driver on Saturdays, 11:30-12pm. A large vehicle/truck is helpful, but not necessary. Bring family and friends to our FREE Pumpkin Decorating Event on Saturday, October 24 under the tent on the South Lawn. We will provide all supplies. It will be a fun-filled morning!
REFRESH A BLESSING BOX!
Love Placentia is looking for five families or small groups who would be willing to "Refresh a Blessing Box" and give one box a deep clean, new coat of paint and make sure it is stocked with food. We will provide the supplies - you provide the crew. Our blessing boxes are honor system food pantries throughout the city of Placentia. Click here for more info on Blessing Boxes. SAVE THE DATE!
All are invited to our Drive Thru Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 30 between 6-8pm. Decorate your car, wear costumes and drive thru our festive parking lot where you will see some special guests! All kids will receive a bag of candy/goodies! This is a different type of Trunk or Treat, but still offers a fun time for everyone while being safe. Invite your family and friends!

Thanks to everyone who donated items to our Pet Supply Collection for the Navigation Center in Placentia for the homeless. This shelter allows pets and your donations are on their way to help these furry friends!
