Welcome Class of 2023
Greetings from Mr. Gault

Our eighteenth year officially got underway on Tuesday, 3 September when we welcomed 65 young men for the 2019-2020 academic year. Included in that number are fifteen fifth graders. Their eighth grade buddies were very eager to ensure that their young Lasallian brothers adjusted quickly to their new school, that they felt welcomed and that they were ready to assume their responsibilities as De La Salle gentlemen.

Over the summer break, as we anticipated the beginning of our new school year, it was humbling to reflect on the generosity of all who contributed to our tremendous growth by their prayers, and eagerness to support our mission. I am pleased to announce that thanks to the generosity of individual benefactors, corporations and foundations we completed our seventeenth year in the black. The auditors from the firm of Condon O'Meara McGinty & Donnelly LLP, who annually review our financials, report that we are in very good standing thanks to the prudent stewardship of our Board of Trustees and the generosity of our benefactors who made it possible. For those who have chosen to invest in our students, you have created with the help and grace of God, a unique school where hearts are touched, minds are challenged, and lives are changed. You have provided young men and their families with the gift of hope!

Friday, 6 September we gathered in Our Holy Redeemer Church for the 12:10 PM parish mass. We gathered to celebrate the Mass of the Holy Spirit where we gave thanks to our gracious God for the many blessings he has bestowed upon The De La Salle School, and we sought wisdom and guidance during the upcoming academic year.  Every Friday when we have a full day of school we join the parish community and participate in the 12:10 PM mass.

Please pray that God will continue to show favor on all those involved in The De La Salle School and that our eighteenth year of providing a quality Catholic education in the Lasallian tradition will be a year filled with hope and many blessings!

Please enjoy the photos from the first few days of the eighteenth year of The De La Salle School.

Respectfully in our brother, Saint La Salle
