Farm and Food Book Club
As we continually adjust to new and evolving social norms, Bellwether Farm remains committed to its vocation to teach about environmental fidelity, physical and spiritual wellness, nutrition, local food sourcing, and social justice. In that spirit, we invite you to join our newest initiative: The Bellwether Book Club. Even while we are distanced socially and geographically, this is an opportunity to come together intellectually and spiritually, and further grow the Bellwether community. The first book club book is  Soil and Sacrament: A Spiritual Memoir of Food and Faith by Fred Bahnson. The book club will meet on July 28 ay 7:00 p.m. for a Zoom conversation with the author. Please register for that conversation by July 21. For questions, please email bookclub@bellwetherfarm.com. More information is available at bellwetherfarm.com/book-club.
Young Adult Gathering at Bellwether Farm
The gathering is on July 28 and is for those 18-30(ish). The time is TBD. This will be a workday in conjunction with the Bellwether Book Club. Due to our social distancing protocols, you need to register for the gathering at  dohio.org/youngadults. If you have questions, contact the Rev. Anna Sutterisch at  asutterisch@dohio.org .
Young Adult Grants
The Office for Congregations and Christian Formation is offering two grants to fund your ministry, outreach, and evangelism to and with young adults.

The College Ministry Grant application is due on July 31 and funds campus ministry. While the near future of campus life is unknown, we can still minister to and with our student communities.

The Young Adult Ministry Grant, funded by the United Thank Offering (UTO) and distributed by the Diocesan Young Adult Task Force, is a new grant to encourage parishes, mission areas, etc. to experiment and take bold action to attract and engage young adults (19-30). Applications will be reviewed monthly, and funds must be used by May 2021. Members of the task force are available to brainstorm with you, and have included some ideas in the grant application.
Bellwether Farm Intergenerational Book Club
Bellwether Farm is launching an Intergenerational Book Club to bring all ages together over great literature. First, we'll read All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot, a delightful classic about a first-time veterinarian in rural Yorkshire. These stories are excellent to read on your own, with your family, or listen to on audiobook. We will have a book club discussion on August 12 which will include a conversation with the vet that treats our Bellwether animals! Visit the website to get more information, register, and learn why this book is so beloved by our Bishop .
Deadline for Amendments to the Constitution and Canons
Proposed amendments to the Diocese of Ohio Constitution & Canons are to be submitted using the   form provided , and must be received by August 14 to be considered at the 2020 Convention.
