CLASS OF 2032 We Welcome you
Transitioning to kindergarten leads to mixed emotions among parents and students alike. Starting school can be incredibly exciting, but also nerve-wracking and intimidating. To help alleviate some of those first day of school jitters, Gahanna-Jefferson Education Foundation provided funding to give every student a copy of the book “The Kissing Hand.” They also gave students Class of 2032 shirts to wear on their first day, giving them a sense of community and belonging.

Sixth Grade Adventure Day Gahanna Middle School East
Sixth graders across the district had a wonderful opportunity to build strong relationships with fellow students and staff in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Each middle school came together on different days in September to celebrate  Sixth Grade Adventure Day!

Please watch the video below from Gahanna Middle School East's Adventure Day and celebrate our sixth graders as we welcome them to middle school!
ONE PRIDE, ONE FAMILY At GLHS
Students and staff at Gahanna Lincoln High School take pride in being Lions, but even more than that, they are focused on being a family. The school’s core values of Purpose, Respect, Integrity, Diversity and Excellence (PRIDE) are a reminder that no matter the background of each staff member or student, everyone in the high school is one big family.

This year, the high school is operating under four simple, yet powerful, words: “One Pride, One Family.” The message is meant to foster positive behaviors and instill a deeper sense of school community. As a result, administrators are hoping those behaviors create meaningful experiences between students. While the messaging was established years ago, the administration felt the need to reboot the Lion PRIDE values under the leadership of new principal Jessica Williams.
