Hospital Run & Walk on
Sunday, September 29 presented by
Mall City Mechanical.
It's a great way to support our young patients and their families who come to Bronson Children's Hospital from communities throughout our nine-county region. When you sign-up for the event or make a donation, you are helping provide child life services, art and music therapy, and support for families with babies in the NICU.
Each year, nearly 2,000 people attend this family-friendly event in downtown Kalamazoo. Children's activities take place between 9 a.m. and noon, with the run & walk starting at 10 a.m.

DeNooyer Family Makes Gift for Patients in Need
Through the generosity of the DeNooyer family, an endowment has been created to provide assistance for individuals and families when a medical crisis arises. The DeNooyer Family Patients in Need Endowment helps to cover out-of-pocket needs that can sometimes devastate families. This includes, but is not limited to, medical transportation, prescriptions, medical equipment, home health needs and other personal barriers to recovery.
"The Kalamazoo community has blessed our family and we are honored to bless others," says Michelle (DeNooyer) Hiller. "A medical crisis can leave families feeling uncertain of what tomorrow holds. Our prayer is that the Patients in Need Endowment would provide stability and hope to those Bronson serves."

Thank you to Southwestern Michigan Emergency Services, P.C. (SWMES), which recently presented the Bronson Health Foundation with a $50,000 gift. SWMES made the gift in recognition of its 50th anniversary. It will support the Foundation's Trauma and Emergency Services Fund.
SWMES provides full-time physician staffing for Bronson's four emergency departments in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Paw Paw and South Haven. "The donation is a way to recognize our 50-year partnership with Bronson Healthcare," says Dr. Jim DeMoss, attending physician and president of SWMES.
"The gift to the Trauma and Emergency Services Fund has special meaning for us, because it ultimately goes towards further helping the patients we serve each and every day," DeMoss adds. "Whether it funds new technology, facility improvements or innovative new ways of treating patients, we know it's going to make a difference for ill and injured people in southwest Michigan."

Carlson Farms hosts fourth annual Farm to Table
Tickets are going fast for this year's Carlson Farms annual Farm to Table Dinner. This fun, fall event in support of Bronson Children's Hospital, will be held on Sunday, October 27.
Norm and Karen Carlson host this three-course plated meal in the picturesque setting of their farm in Lawton.
