Worship This Weekend

This Sunday we will be blessed with the return of our pastor, Rev. Jim Warren, AND we get to celebrate with him by gathering for outdoor worship complete with food and fellowship!
Worship in the Park is open to everyone (hint: invite friends and family!), and will start at 10:15 a.m. at Fairview Park in Normal.  Lunch will be at 11:00 a.m.  If you are able, bring a lawn chair and dish to pass.  Fried chicken will be provided.  Rev. Jim Warren will be preaching and we welcome him "Home!"
The scripture passage:  Luke 15:20-24

In the case of rain, please check your email for confirmation of a "rainy day plan."  The plan is to meet at FCC at 10:15 a.m. for worship, and then have an indoor picnic in Fellowship Hall.  Drop off your food at the Fellowship Hall kitchen before worship if you wish.

At FCC there will be a brief service in the sanctuary at 9:00 a.m.

Make a new friend!  Greet a visitor. Greet someone another member has greeted!  Several contacts truly make a person feel welcome.  A great resource for helping a visitor is the bulletin, and you can also walk them to the Info Desk for another warm greeting,  more information, and a welcome gift!
