In the News
US Sailing has officially announced our designation as a Primary Siebel Center for a groundbreaking program that will provide increased access to sailing for youth, regardless of socioeconomic backgrounds.

TISC is one of three Supporting Siebel Centers nominated in our region along with Alameda Community Sailing Center and Golden Gate Yacht Club. The boats have landed here at TISC and we are excited to see this program develop.

BAYS Labor Day Regatta

We had perfect conditions this past Labor Day weekend. We had over 80 boats registered and 20 volunteers here at TISC for the final BAYS Summer Series.

Team TISC showed up in great numbers divided between Opti Green and Champ Fleets. We are very proud of our sailors for giving it their all and supporting each other on the race course.  Special shout out to our many Coaches who have helped our kids reach their goals this year!

Thanks to all our outstanding volunteers who helped run races, score, pass out food, and kept our ramp moving!  We can't thank you enough for your dedication to TISC's community small and large!
Upcoming Events
Fall Adult Sailing

There are still lots of opportunities to get out sailing with us this year.  Keelboat and Dinghy Classes run through December! See program listing below.

If you have taken a Keelboat class from us we highly recommend taking a skills day in order for you to gain more confidence on the water. This is student lead practice inside Clipper Cove on our J24's.

Next Skills Day is September 22nd!  Sign Up Today!
Coastal Cleanup Day

Saturday, September 21st is California Coastal Cleanup Day, this event is part of the International Coastal Cleanup organized by the Ocean Conservancy.

As sailors we care about our local and global waterways, what better way to show our love for the ocean than to spend a day cleaning it up!

Click Here to find out where you can volunteer We are still accepting volunteers at TISC also! Just show up this Saturday at 9am and bring a refillable water bottle, 5-gallon bucket, and gardening gloves!
Program Highlight
Summer Camp 2019!

What a summer that was. We had more sunny days this year than most which meant lots of days for sailing!

We are very proud of our team this year for engaging over 900 youth in our program. The 10-weeks our Instructors spend here are invaluable to our program participants. This year we focused on the community building aspects of our program and it really showed off!  We saw many familiar faces on day one of our Fall program which had a waiting list, that might be a first for TISC !

Thanks team for a fantastic summer! Now it's time to plan for 2020!!
2019 Summer Camp Survey

If your child participated in a sailing camp this year, we would love to hear about their experience and yours. Click on the button below to fill out a short Google Form Survey. If you have already done so, thanks so much for your support!  We look to improve our programs  each year and can't do it without you.

Tell us what we did well, where we can improve, and leave us a quote or testimonial from your child that highlights their experience sailing with us, goals they reached this year, fears they overcame, and fun stories they would like to share.
Set, Sail, Learn!

Our STEM programs are off to a great start! We look forward to delivering our 5th grade program Sailing to Save the Sea to the next round of students who will become the next generation of  watershed stewards. Thanks to our grant supporters who make these programs possible!
