2019 - 2020 BC HOCKEY LEAGUES SET TO START

The schedules for the BC Hockey Leagues have been posted for the 2019 - 2020 season. The schedules include multiple showcase weekends within each league.

The BC Hockey Leagues include: Female Midget AAA (FMAAA), Major Bantam League (MBL), Minor Midget League (MML15), Major Midget League (MML) and the Zone Program, which includes Bantam AA and Midget AA.

All BC Hockey leagues are under the BC Hockey Program of Excellence (POE) umbrella and a new logos for the POE and leagues have been created.

The FMAAA program was initiated in the 2007-2008 season in response to the memberships desire to provide an opportunity for elite female hockey players to come together on zone teams to challenge other elite female midget teams. The league has had nearly 100 players move on to post-secondary hockey opportunities.

The MML15 is in its second season which includes nine (9) teams across BC consisting of players that are 15 years old.

The MML was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15, 16 and 17-year-old players an opportunity to play within their own age group at a high level and be developed for the next level of hockey.

The MBL has been created for the 2019-2020 season in the Lower Mainland, North Central, Okanagan and Vancouver Island. The program will be made up of eight (8) teams based on the MML draw zones.

The BC Hockey Zone Program, which is currently in its third season, was developed to provide minor hockey players with access to the highest possible level of play within their age group.
