Yearbook Photos/Packages
On
Friday, September 20, Gurcsik Studios will take Yearbook photos of all Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors. Each student has the option of ordering a package of photos, as explained in the flyer included in the packet given out at Back to School Night. Payments should be brought in an envelope on Friday, and will be given directly to the photographer (not the office). Students whose families were unable to attend Back to School Night should have picked up their packet in the office.

Information Sheet and
Textbook Loan Form. Anyone who has not turned in these forms, please do so as soon as possible.
**DATE CHANGE - Travel for Teens Greece Trip and Informational Meeting
Due to overwhelming requests for the date to be changed, the Greece trip will be rescheduled to June. Final dates are being confirmed and will be shared in the upcoming days. Please attend the informational meeting on

Video Production
On Tuesday, Sept. 17, CGI Communications will be filming on campus for a new online video that we will use to market Saint Basil Academy for Open House, on our website and to our local community. Groups of students who were asked to participate in the video received permission forms on Friday, Sept. 13, which need to be returned on Tuesday morning. No student may participate in the video without a parent signed release form. We are excited about having the video showcase all the wonderful experiences that Basils provides.
Drama News
Auditions for the Fall Show will be held on Tuesday 9/24, Wednesday 9/25 or Thursday 9/26. Please sign up for whichever day works best for your schedule. If you are involved in sports etc. please bring a copy of your schedule to auditions.
Drama Trip to NYC to see West Side Story. Down payment of $50.00 is needed by October 15th to secure your spot.
Drama Students $100, Non-Drama Students $120. There are 100 tickets for the show available. Trip includes Bus transportation, class and show. Chaperones will also be needed for this trip - Please send in deposit - Chaperones will be chosen on a need basis. Please see attached flyer for more information.
Annual Pilgrimage
On
Sunday, October 6 at 9:00 AM, the Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great invite you to their 88th Annual Pilgrimage, which will include the Divine Liturgy, confession, prayer services, special presentations, and food. This year's theme is The Unity of the Trinity: That All May Be One Through the Intercession of the Mother of God. Please see the
