From Foreign to Familiar

 
When international travelers arrive in a new destination, they experience varying degrees of culture shock. In her book, Foreign to Familiar, Sarah A. Lanier explores several aspects of cultural differences ranging from perceptions of time to concepts of individualism vs group identity. Young marrieds face many of the same challenges following the honeymoon, tourists in a new and unfamiliar place.

Fall Home Groups Successfully Kicked Off for this semester. Three different coach couples are involved. A special thanks to Jared and Janice Buswell, and Larry and Pamela Scott for joining the Giles' in coaching this fall.  

 

Couple Coach Training will begin September 17. Emphasis will be on preparation for couples to help couples collaborate more intentionally for their work in the field.
