Essential Services for Bloomfield Seniors
BTSS continues to deliver essential services like Meals on Wheels (MOW) to Bloomfield area seniors ages 60+. Meals are safely delivered each Monday by trained BTSS staff.

For many customers, just that one meal a day makes all the difference. They know that once a week a caring person will arrive at their door to bring them meals, assuring them that even though they may be on their own, they are not alone. We have capacity to add people in need to the program and look forward to continued growth and connection! MOW can be a great addition to family support as well.

For more information,  visit the Bloomfield Township website or call 248-723-3500 to enroll in the MOW service.
Transportation to medical appointments
Now that medical offices have re-opened for routine office visits, we can assist with your transportation. Rides to medical appointments are available to Bloomfield Township and Bloomfield Hills residents ages 60+ who are unable to drive. For information and an application form visit the Bloomfield Township website. To schedule an appointment call 248-723-3500.
Visit the DIA virtually and
view the collections

Most of the DIA's massive, 60,000+ piece collection is available online to browse and learn from wherever you are. Many of these works also have interpretive information right on the page, as well as other details, and images from different angles and perspectives than you'd see in person. Current and past exhibitions are also available online. Visit the DIA website to search the collections.
Register for August ZOOM
fitness classes

BTSS programs are generally limited to those ages 50+. However, while gyms and workout facilities are closed we will waive the age requirement. We welcome any adult who would like to sign up for the Zoom virtual fitness classes.

BTSS ZOOM virtual fitness classes continue to be a great way to stay fit and connected while the senior center is closed to the public. Maggie Barclay, our fitness coordinator is doing many of her classes from our fitness studio.  BTSS will continue to offer ZOOM virtual fitness and plan for the future when we can offer both in studio and virtual fitness simultaneously.

Our professional instructors offer a range of classes suited to all abilities including high intensity interval training and personal training.  You can register online  or call 248-723-3500.

Your registration in virtual fitness classes helps support BTSS re-opening efforts and our fitness instructors.

BTSS loan closet offers
curbside pickup
BTSS collects donations of durable medical equipment like wheelchairs, walkers, shower benches, and transport wheelchairs. We have limited storage and varied stock so please call to confirm a need for your specific item in advance. Once confirmed, you may drop it off at the senior center's front door.
Items must be clean, gently used and in good repair. We will "quarantine" them for a period prior to future loans.

This equipment is available for short-term use by BT residents. Please call 248-723-3500 to confirm availability and schedule curbside pickup at the center.
