We will also need a fourth vestry member who will run for one year to fill a partial position.  Forms are located the Narthex and Main hallway table. As well, forms are available on St. Timothy's homepage - click on the "Vestry & Delegate Nomination Form" (green button) and download the form. Deadline to turn your form in is September 29th. If you have any questions about the nomination process, please contact Susan Laver, Sr. Warden.
Food Basket Open House, September 19
The Food Basket invites you to a Grand Open House, Thursday, September 19th, 4-7 p.m. - to see their New Warehouse at 1 Wesley Drive in Clute! Come and see where your donations go, check out behind the scenes, get to know the volunteer team and enjoy some light refreshments.

Call for Volunteers
Food Basket is in need of a volunteer one day a week - Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday to do a food pick up at Kroger (by 10:00 a.m. on those days). It includes the produce department, dairy, bakery, deli and checking the red barrels for bags. If you are interested, Laurie could go with you on the first run to show you where the areas are to pick up. A truck or large SUV is a must. Without volunteers their ministry would falter as it takes many hands to serve. Please call 979-388-0024 for more information.

Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Hotdogs, chips and drinks will be furnished. Several organizations and businesses will have informational tables set up providing valuable information. Stop by and visit St. Timothy's booth!
The Police Department, Fire Department and EMS will have vehicles and equipment for the public to see.
