Kirkmont Center, Zanesfield, is bringing back its Day of Renewal on Saturday, October 10, with a focus on art and movement outdoors at safe distances. Stations will be set up throughout the camp allowing participants to find those activities that speak to them and help them renew their spirits.

Artists are also welcome to bring their own tools, pads, easels, etc., and paint or draw Kirkmont scenes en plein air. The Day of Renewal includes a locally sourced picnic lunch, and overnight options for Friday, October 9, are available.

The Great Lakes Association of Presbyterian Church Educators (GLAPCE) will present a free virtual fall event on October 14, 7:00 P.M. and October 15, 10:00 A.M. (Times are Eastern)

Because of the pandemic, the GLAPCE board decided to postpone its regular in-person fall event, “Equipping the Church to Welcome All: Gender Identity/Fluidity/Pronouns,” to October of 2021. Instead, GLAPCE will offer an abbreviated online version of “Equipping the Church to Welcome All” as an introduction and foundation to next year’s theme. Zoom events will be recorded and available for viewing after the live session has ended.

Christian Educators, Pastors, Christian Education Ministries, Member Care Ministries, and others are invited to attend this meaningful opportunity for all church ministries.
