"A Handful of Rice"
Luke 16: 10-15

10 “Whoever is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much; and whoever is dishonest in a very little is dishonest also in much. 11 If then you have not been faithful with the dishonest wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches? 12 And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to another, who will give you what is your own? 13 No slave can serve two masters; for a slave will either hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”

The Law and the Kingdom of God
14 The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, heard all this, and they ridiculed him. 15 So he said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of others; but God knows your hearts; for what is prized by human beings is an abomination in the sight of God.
World Communion and Dedication Sunday

Children's Moment
Parents, read over the lesson below and use it to stir conversation as a family!
Being Intentional
In todays message from Rev. Ewing we learn that God wants us to be intentional when using our time and talents and sharing our gifts with others. Do you know what it means to be intentional? To do something intentionally means you have given it thought and are doing it on purpose. God gave us time and talents and gifts for us to share with others and others have been given different gifts, they can share with you!

Spend some time as a family making a list of your talents, extra time and special gifts. Now look back on your list and think of ways you can be intentional with sharing those with others and who you could share them with!

Let Us Pray
Dear God, help me to be intentional in sharing my time and talents and gifts with others. Amen.

"Show You Care - Task of the week"
Todays sermon was focused on being intentional with your giving. Just as the children were asked to do in the children's moment, make a list of your time, talents, and gifts. In what ways can you share those with others? Who in the church could use your help and benefit from your talents and gifts?
If you know of any member concerns or needs, please email Jim.
