Early Learning Center Update:
Kevin Case, Superintendent of Schools and Zach Snethen, of HTK Architects provided board members with information relating to early learning facilities. Given the local, state, and national focus on early learning, the landscape of early learning facilities is currently being shaped and developed. Pictures of a number of examples of facilities designed specifically for early learning were shared. It was stressed that the district is planning to utilize input from all stakeholders to develop a purposeful early childhood learning environment. The intent is to utilize the best of the past, present, and future to develop programming that meets the needs of students in USD 253.
During the next few weeks, we will be working with Maynard staff, board members, and stakeholders to gather thoughts and ideas regarding what is important as we continue to develop our vision for an early learning facility. Click here for the complete report "Preparing for the class of 2036"
