Happy Student Success Day!

We hope you're enjoying the great sessions taking place today, including this morning's keynote by Duluth Mayor Emily Larson. Thanks to everyone attending, presenting and involved with making this day such a success. While most sessions are taking place via Zoom, some lucky students got to enjoy the fresh air with Steve Dalager's Hike Campus Trails session.

Pictured below, students also enjoyed hiking Ely's Peak with the LSC Student Life team last Friday.
Lake Superior College In The News
Congratulations to Lake Superior College's Medical Assisting program which was recently ranked among the best medical assisting programs in the state by MedicalAssistantAdvice.com. In a virtual roundtable discussion, four college administrators in the Minnesota State system, including Lake Superior College, discussed enrollment trends, budget impacts and other effects of COVID-19 in Enterprise Minnesota magazine.

The Lake Superior College Foundation will sponsor a drive-thru book signing of The Science of Stephen King, written by Lake Superior College faculty Kelly Florence, along with Meg Hafdahl. A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to the LSC Foundation. Read more on PerfectDuluthDay.com.
