Help your child be familiar with the classroom symbols.

Dear families,

The new school and program year is off and going (deep breath in, slow breath out). Last Sunday was a beautiful morning of teaching commissioning, finding new classrooms and meeting friends. Whether the atmosphere at your house is one of anxiety or excitement (or some of both), there's no denying these are big weeks. I would encourage you to pray with your children each morning or evening and lay all these feelings before God. Remind your child that Jesus is with her or him not only at church but also on the bus, in math class, at lunch, and even (especially) in the Principal's office.

Below is a Prayer for New Beginnings to pray with and for your child.

God, you were present at the beginning. Be with us as we begin a new school year. Comfort us when we are unsure of our new surroundings. Strengthen us when we stumble, and help us to remember that your light shines in all places.
Amen

I know we are all fighting  Form Fatigue this time of year! But our spectacular teachers and church administrators need accurate accurate class lists and contact information. If you haven't registered your children yet, please do so.

Music Notes from Ingrid
I bet if you had to fill in the blanks:
"Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible _____ _____ _____,"
that you would be singing the tune in your head at the same time.
Music is like that. We remember what we sing.  And it's really fun too.

Our choirs for children ages 4 - 5th grade are open to ALL.
We are super excited to welcome everyone next Wed, September 18!
Please register.  Youth choirs, grades 6 - 12 begin this Sunday, September 15.

Wednesday Schedules:
