Shaping the Future of the Legal Profession
The National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE) Testing Task Force is conducting a three-year, comprehensive study of the bar examination to ensure it continues to test the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for entry-level practice in a changing profession. The survey is designed to collect empirical data on the work that newly licensed lawyers perform and the knowledge and skills they need to perform that work. The results will guide NCBE’s Testing Task Force as it considers what should be tested in the bar exam of the future. Survey time estimate = 20 minutes.
