The Greenvale Park Community School received exciting news earlier this summer – the project was selected for up to six years of additional funding through the Minnesota Department of Education’s 21st Century Community Learning Center grant award.

Greenvale Park’s initial five-year 21 st Century grant ended this summer, making this year’s competition particularly critical.

Only one in three applicants statewide were selected for funding. The 21 st Century grant competition is only open every 2-3 years, further raising the stakes of this year’s application. The Greenvale Park Community School offers before school, after school, and evening programming for youth and adults of all ages. The program served 938 youth and 650 adults last year.
